Faith Ministries, our mission, is to be that ‘light on a hill!” Our message to our community and the world is one of love, peace, compassion, service, forgiveness, redemption through faith, and acceptance regardless of race, color, creed, national origin, social or economic status or sexual proclivity!
“We believe that all people are precious to GOD and Christ’s love is revealed through us!” And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
OUR HISTORY
The church was founded in September 10, 2000, as a coming together to address the need for a spiritually diverse place where people could come together to worship regardless of race or denomination. Faith Ministries strives to create a shared space where everyone is welcome.
LEADERSHIP TEAM
The Leadership Team is comprised of leaders are approached by the Pastor and confirmed by through the voting process by the congregation. Each Leadership Team Member overseas the business side of the church. Each Leader has a vote. Through the leadership team, the church creates a healthy checks-and-balances of leadership direction, financial accountability, spiritual guidance, and ministry implementation.
Jarvis Cooper
FOUNDER
The church was founded by Jarvis Cooper, as a coming together to address the need for a spiritually diverse place where they could come together to worship regardless of race or denomination. All religions and views are welcome because we are all after the same God. By being open to hold worship services, yoga and even Art of Living classes, Faith Ministries is creates shared space where everyone is welcome.
